HEY, how ya'll peoples doing! This thread is here so we can talk about Hostel Part 2. And you don't just have to talk about Roger's awesome role as Stuart, but you could also talk about other characters and scenes you enjoyed. Like here are a couple of Q's that will get us started..... 1) What other characters-besides Stuart-did you enjoy watching? Are you a fan of another actor/actress in the movie? 2)Did you like Richard Burgi and Roger Bart together playing the successful business men, or do you think someone else could have played Richard Burgi's character, Todd? 3)What was you're FAVORITE scene(s) in the movie? 4)What do you like the most about Stuart in the movie? 5)Are you a fan of Eli Roth(I AM) AND... 6) What did you think of Beth(Lauren German) and Stuart's so-called friendship in the movie? What did you think of Stuart's GRUESOME death?(AND i'm aware that scene is disturbing, so if don't want to add a detail of some sort you don't have to, which i'm pretty sure none of us will do anyways. But if you want to, i don't really care. Thanks and hope you ENJOY!! This is my first thread and kind of nervous about how it will turn out. Now DISCUSS!! P.S.You don't have to answer the Q's directly, you could make your own in the posts if you want to. And for Seraphina..... CRICKET,CRICKET,MOO,OINK!!

I think Richard Burgi was a great cast choice, mostly because Richard plays Karl on Desperate Housewives, so it's SO cool to see "George" & "Karl" together hehe... I'm probably gonna be using the scenes of them together in future fan videos of mine...I wanna make a George/Susan/Karl video and I also wanna make a tribute video to Roger Bart and Richard Burgi in Hostel II.
I like all the scenes with Stuart and Todd outside...I actually just watched a bit of the movie today and I just started giggling because of the "George/Karl" thing...
And now I'm gonna be negative... Hmm.. I'm not gonna lie, but Hostel II is just not a movie I like...If Roger wasn't in it, I would never have anything to do with it...I think it's...emm...how do I put this...hmm disgusting..VERY disturbing and just something I can't watch without feeling uncomfortable. I have not watched the entire movie...I only watch clips here and there and often in low size and without sound LOL
It's sad Roger's character had to die in the movie...if only he didn't turn evil, then maybe he and Beth could have escaped and maybe together bring down that twisted evil organization.

Yeah some scenes are very DETAILED(you know what i mean). I've seen the whole movie before and it's okay. But i saw it when i was younger so i didn't really have a choice whether or not to watch it, well i did but i didn't want to go in my room, i wanted to watch the movie. But i knew someone would like Richard Burgi cause he was on DH, so i already knew the answer to that. There's on one other actress that i knew before i saw this movie, and that was Heather Matarazzo. She was pretty good in the film but her death was disgusting yet weird. But her and Stuart had about the same quality of grossness in each of their deaths, but i still think Stuart's was WORSE. Either way thanks for replying!

1) What other characters-besides Stuart-did you enjoy watching? Are you a fan of another actor/actress in the movie? I liked the girls - they remind me of my 2 closest girl friends - We all assigned who out of the three of us would be Beth, Whitney and Lorna - I was Beth apparently. 2)Did you like Richard Burgi and Roger Bart together playing the successful business men, or do you think someone else could have played Richard Burgi's character, Todd? I thought that was great - two DH players - excellent casting!3)What was you're FAVORITE scene(s) in the movie? The entering the factory and the festival scene and the scene before Stewart gets hurt. But the entering the factory scene - beautifully edited and filmed.4)What do you like the most about Stuart in the movie? His quiet dark strength, the bit in the film where Todd and Stewart are running makes me laugh because his quiet and unassuming nature makes what Todd's saying very true.5)Are you a fan of Eli Roth(I AM) YES!!! So many times YES! I think he and I have a hell of a lot in common!6) What did you think of Beth(Lauren German) and Stuart's so-called friendship in the movie? I saw an attraction between the characters forming until he decided to get his money's worth. But to be honest - I'd have let him - that's all I'm saying. I'd have paid to shoot a guard or something as opposed to viciously cutting off a man's genitals.7)What did you think of Stuart's GRUESOME death? From a film-maker's point of view - nice work on the gag - but it was painful to watch even as a girl! I always feel really sad seeing Roger squirm like that - I know it's not real - but it makes me freak.

I like how you replied in purple-MY FAV COLOR!! Anyways, when Stuart/Roger was killed in the film, i think he deserved it. I mean seriously, who would call a woman that when she is clearly about to cut off your-you know what. And before that he tried to rape her. NOt Cool. But the way Eli Roth designed it for Stuart to die that way is actually true, cause most women would do that. Besides she had to do that so she could leave that place, even though she'd have to join the Elite Hunting group. And i don't enjoy watching ROGER get hurt, but the STUART character is different. And i don't like to say this but that scene was kind of funny. And i find that me and Eli Roth are ALIKE A WHOLE bunch! We obviously both like gore and other things!! I love the horror in some movies it's cool to look at! Like in the remake of Halloween, Jason throw his ax at a guy running away and it sticks the guy in the back and the guy falls to the ground and dies, it was AWESOME!!! Yeah i like ALL the scenes with Stuart in them but my FAV would be the WHOLE Stuart and Beth scene towards the end of the movie and the scene when Beth and all of her friends are on the train. I also like the nude male model painting scene TEEHEE!!!

I found it amazing he had the balls (until a few seconds after haha) to do that when she had his man-dingle in a pair of scissors!? I've had Eli tweet to me before - I was like "Eeeee" except really high pitched! Cheyenne I think you and I have a lot in common where it comes to our sense of humor. I have a solution to her having to kill Stuart to leave - She could have just pulled the gun on a guard and killed him - henchmen are never missed - So they could have both left. She'd have killed someone and he had already killed Whitney. Problem solved

First paragraph ''until a few seconds later'' HILARIOUS!! I think i see what your sayin'. But see that wouldn't really work because if they were there and Beth, wait are you sayin' she shot one of the guards, cause if you are than this i why it wouldn't work. Well because if if she shot one of the guards than that would leave about 5 other guards to shoot her or releade the dogs on her, then Stuart would be released. But if that did work i doubt Stuart- in that state of mind- would probably kill her anyways. And Stuart is the one that killed Whitney. If they both left than that wouldn't be equal because SHE has to kill someone. Keep in mind Todd and the other girls are dead so that leaves two, so it's like a game of ''only one can leave''. It was Stuart's job to have killed Beth then left with Todd. So what i'm sayin is,she would have to kill Stuart to leave because Whitney was a finisher-off and he didn't HAVE to kill her- that was HIS kill. It was on his scorecard they can't just say ''Oh yeah i already killed Whitney so i don't have to be killed.'' Cause BETH didn't kill Whitney, Stuart did. Besides it's the same way flipped, if Stuart hadn't killed Beth he wouldn't be able to leave either. So Beth has to kill Stuart to leave. I know that was confusing cause i confused myself typing this, so do you see what i'm sayin' ?
Lucky, you had ELI ROTH tweet you, I'M JEALOUS!!!!!!

I doooooo - however - The Rules of The Elite Hunting Club are simple; If you have killed someone and paid - you may leave. It doesn't matter if they're a guard. What I'm saying is this -
Stuart had already killed Whitney on tape - His kill. If Beth didn't want to kill Stuart (hypothetically speaking) then she could ask to kill a guard - if she pays no one cares.
Therefore I put it to you - by means of no main character being killed off - this way is water tight and both could have gone free having both committed murder of a supporting role (Whitney) and a minor role (A guard).
Does that make any sense? Lol ;D
P.S I know right? He's another beautiful man - with great taste in films!

I SEE WHAT YOU'RE SAYING NOW!!!! This is random but i think they should have given him a last name. That would have been cool! And yes, Eli Roth IS another beautiful man!

I am a HUGE horror movie fan. I loved the Hostel movies. I love Roger's character in part 2. He seems like such a sweet, timid guy, but he has all this rage underneath. The ending is just crazy! I couldn't help but laugh because it is so over the top. But poor Roger -- what a way to go!

I know it was funny!! But i love HORROR movies as well. And in my opinion is that Hostel 2 had WAYYY more GORE than Hostel 1. But Hostel 1 had more of a solid base story. Either way he was still SEXY, depite his ''dismemberment'' TEEHEE!!!

You liked it Cheyenne? I'm always peed off at how fuzzy Roger looks. The pixels didn't like being stretched I think lol.
I always cringe at that moment. It's the ultimate climax to any horror film I've seen... and I'm into ART HOUSE horror! ;D
