I had a friend from work do this. It's a stress thing, it's started recently again right? What recent stresses have you been having? Find the stress and cut it down or out, if it's hard to do so then we'll help you. It's not weird, it's actually very common, I know you might feel your family will not understand but they will, they love you so they'll be there for you. So basically my answer is to tell them. Of course you always have your Bartians to fall back on, we're here Airen. Perhaps not for a re-assuring hug, but a cyber one anyhow Love to you and your awesomeness <3

I would definitely tell your family about it, it might turn out better than you expect it to. I have a similar type of family. I'm also the one who seems a bit weird to them, sort of an outcast. I can't say that I pull my hair, but I can relate a bit. I assume it's caused by stress, try to find ways to relax more after you've determined what's causing you stress. I hear meditation helps, though I haven't been known to try that for myself, either. We're here for you, no judgement coming from me, anyway. Just support! Hope you can figure things out.

Yes, I think you should tell your family. Even though they are perfectionists your still their baby and they will love you no matter what :-X. And the outcome might not be as bad as you think. And like MissSeraphina said, your fellow Bartians are here for you . Meditation you should try. It does work, I have tried it before and here are some techniques on how to meditate. 1. Try not to make any plans for that day. So basically a free day. Turn off everything including phone, TV(for howeverlong you meditate),anything that can throw you off your concentration. 2.Lock your doors and close the curtains. By doing this, this helps you to feel secure knowing you don't have to worry about anyone breaking in or something. Closing the curtains provides darkness, which helps sooth the mind from it's worries. 3. Sit on something comfy. Like a bed, pillow anthing that provides you with the most comfort. Mostly for me it's a bed. 4. Turn on some music. Music like sounds of the ocean, or the musical artist Enya makes very soothing music(look her up on YouTube, song I request,Carribean Blue=relaxing) Music also helps block out the outside sounds. Closing your bedroom door helps too. 5. Dress in something comfy. Don't try to sit in tight clothes that makes it worse, dress in pajamas or a night gown something loose fitting. 6. Position yourself right and your meditaion begins! Postion yourself where you are most comfortable and don't think. It sounds hard not to think but once your relaxed your thoughts are worries will slip away. Put everything work related away like breifcases, work clothes etc. away in a closet so if you open your eyes, your not reminded. If this doesn't work for you try taking a bubblebath. Everything is the same in a bath as it is in meditation. Get music, warm water, comfortable position, turn off the lights, and light candles and surrond yourself in them. Also lay a cold or warm, which ever works for you, over your face and take deep breaths. Do the same in meditation, get a washrag and lay it over your face. I really hope this helps Airen. I will pray that your stress will go away. And it sounds crazy that I know all this but even with young age, you can still get stressed. And that's what mom's are for. But I hope your nasty stress goes away. And no matter how much you want to pull at your hair don't do it. Try grabbing on to the arm of a chair, or even tying your hands together, or sit on them and take your mind off of it. I hope this all helps, I hope your stress goes away. :-X
